Jeff Rutstein, Principal
Jeff founded Custom Fitness in 1990. He is widely recognized for his mind/body approach to fitness. He has been featured in over 100 international media outlets. Jeff is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a personal trainer certified by the American Council on Exercise and International Sports Medicine Association. He is recognized as a Master Trainer through the International Dance and Exercise Association and weight training instructor certified by the National YMCA.
Kelly Kennedy, Personal Trainer
After graduating from Barry University in Miami, Kelly moved back home to Boston. She has trained with the top teachers from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), taking classes in Human Physiology and Anatomy. She is a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor. Kelly also teaches classes in kickboxing and body sculpt. Helping others reach their health and fitness goals is her passion.
Harold Quintana, Personal Trainer
Harold has a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Education and is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is also a certified running coach with the USA Track and Field Association. Harold’s specialty is working with novice exercisers and seniors. His overall goal is to help his clients achieve a happier, healthier lifestyle while encouraging them to enjoy their workouts.
Katie O’Neil, Personal Trainer
Katie O’Neil is a certified personal trainer through National Exercise Sports Training Association. Katie has a wide range of clients from someone who has never exercised before to clients who are triathletes. Katie enjoys working with those who are new to weight training. She also works with pre and post natal clients and has experience working with young children and teenagers. Katie has her undergraduate degree in Human Services and her masters degree in Social Work and Nonprofit Management from Springfield College.
Robin Bates, Personal Trainer
Robin graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Exercise Physiology and Sports Science. Robin became certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and she has over seven years experience as a personal trainer. Robin also has a strong background in nutrition and she develops individual programs based on the specific needs of her clients. As a personal trainer, Robin’s overall goal is to help her clients achieve a happier, healthier lifestyle while encouraging them to enjoy their workouts.
Olivia Chamberland, Personal Trainer
Olivia is a licensed mental health counselor and certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She has worked at the Reebok Club and YMCA and has appeared in several national media outlets. Her work in the mental health and fitness professions has enabled her to fully understand and train clients on the mind/body benefits of exercise.
Kerry Martin, Director of Corporate Development
Kerry graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Management. Prior to working at Custom Fitness, she was employed at Tufts Health Plan, where she conducted health fairs and assisted with wellness promotions for corporate settings.
